30 Day Challenge: Continue!!

Soooo, a while ago I attempted the 30 Day Lolita Blogging Challenge in order to try to cure my awful writer's block, and to an extent it worked!! But, some of you might have noticed that after Day 9 I dropped off the face of the planet for a while and stopped doing the challenge. That was due mostly to the fact that school finals were occurring and I had to study (glad to say I did fairly well!), and partially because I was lazy and didn't feel like blogging in my spare time. At the moment, I'm writing a legitimate article (on the internet phenomenon known as site modelling- if you know what it is then don't judge! It's not going to be all about scene kids and Myspace shots!), but while I write that I figured instead of not posting for a full week it'd be better to do a more pointless post- "fluff," if you will. :P
I've decided instead of steaming full speed ahead and doing ALL the days RIGHT ON TIME, I'll just post a few days of the challenge at a time when I'm working on another, better article, so I don't leave you guys hanging for so long (and so I don't feel guilty for not posting :P ). Here's days 10 and 12 (I promise I'll post 11 as soon as my camera starts agreeing with me)!!

Day 10: What's in Your Bag?
Unfortunately, I can't SHOW you guys my bag, due to a current mishap with my camera (though, due to the fact that I'm taking photography this year, I'm hopefully going to acquire a better one soon!), so I'll just describe it and it's contents :)
For a bag, I usually use my pink Bodyline bag with a rose and cosmetic prints. I love it so much because it's so big and it even has pearls on it, but the thing that bothers me is that the lace on it is rather cheap >.> If the lace was only a bit better it'd be perfect!!
In it, I usually carry my brush, a comb, my makeup bag (it's awesome and black and pink!), my Hello Kitty wallet, and my iPod/headphones (unfortunately my good iPod was stolen so I'm using my WICKED old nano that I've had since I was in 5th grade, but the thief was caught and with any luck she'll be forced to pay me full price for the stolen iPod!). That's all; I'm boring :P

Day 12: A picture of you before Lolita came into your life.
You guys better be VERY grateful for this because it's embarrassing to the max >.>
It's blurry because one of my friends had to sneak a shot of me because I hated having my picture taken (you can see why :P ). Yeah... I never brushed my hair, took AWFUL care of my skin, never exercised and frequently gorged on bad foods, wore glasses that didn't suit me AT ALL, and worst of all I wore that hat EVERY FREAKING DAY >.> It wouldn't be so bad if I actually coordinated the stuff I wore with it and didn't just slap it on like I did...
So yeah, I'm VERY glad that Lolita came into my life, because it inspired me to take care of my body, dress better, be happier and generally become a better person. I admit, my brief rendezvous with lifestyle Lolita might be responsible for the majority of this (improving my manners, etc) but it just goes to show that fashion doesn't always destroy people; in fact, more often than not, it often betters them. :)

Finally, this is completely unrelated, but unfortunately I will not be able to do a full vacation post due to lack of pictures (my camera deleted them all >.> ). However, I will tell you that it was awesome and maybe I'll write up a brief summary at some point for the curious.
Here's one surviving picture (my mom actually took it and sent it to my e-mail) of a baby mountain sheep I saw on one of the tallest peaks in Yellowstone:
He was so cute!! His parents were cute too :) I wish I could've gotten a closer shot, but I didn't want to get too close to the wild life, especially since his parents could've gotten aggressive over him (did I mention I went the day after a guy was mauled to death by a bear? I was WICKED paranoid all day xD ) so I just zoomed as much as I could and got this.

Thank you for reading!!
